Will Sweet gave the young Gunners the lead with less than three minutes remaining in Saturday’s matchup between Arsenal and Norwich City.
After Michal Rosiak, a dead-ball expert, whipped in an early corner, Sweet met it with a header to put the ball in the goal (1-0).
The lead was short-lived, though, as Norwich’s Errol Mundle tied the score with a deft set-piece routine before Mundle extended Norwich’s lead to 2-1 in the 22nd minute.
In the 35th minute, Arsenal equalized the score thanks to another header, this time from Harrison Dudziak, who headed in a cross from Osman Kamara.
In the 65th minute, Rosiak helped Arsenal regain the lead with a curling free-kick, making the score 3-2. Omari Benjamin and Kamarni Ryan, who were substitutes, then combined to score Arsenal’s fourth goal.
With ten minutes remaining, Ryan appeared to end the game when Benjamin, having won the third free-kick, shot his cutback into the net.
La’Sean Sealey’s goal in injury time gave Norwich hope for one more twist, but it was too late to save the day for the visitors.
