We shared a story from Milliyet during the international break, stating that Okan Buruk, the Galatasaray manager, had ‘a special discussion’ with Ndombele. Buruk had previously been annoyed by the player’s lack of fitness and attitude.

It was revealed that Buruk told the 26-year-old repeatedly that he thought highly of his abilities, and as a result, the player improved in the training environment.

The Tottenham player on loan then played the whole ninety minutes for the Istanbul team on Saturday as they defeated Alanyaspor 4-0 at home and then for an additional hour in the Champions League match against Man United.

Ndombele declares that he is staying in Galatasaray.

According to Sabah, Ndombele is eager to “recover as soon as possible” and has dropped 3.5 kg to arrive at his “ideal weight” of 81 kg following his conversation with Buruk.

The former Lyon player is said to have made it plain to the Galatasaray manager that he intends to remain at RAMS Park. Ndombele is said to have said, “I will not leave, I will show myself and stay in the team,” to Buruk and the club’s administration.

The source continues, “The midfielder intends to establish himself in the starting eleven and will look to showcase his qualities over the upcoming fixtures.”
