“Sparks Fly as Ian Wright Confesses His Love: What He REALLY Thinks About Tottenham and Manchester United Fans!”

Joe Lee

Ian Wright has admitted that he has ‘loved’ the scenes Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United fans have been involved this season.

Both clubs have scored stoppage-time winners this season. Both were on home soil against Liverpool and Brentford, respectively.

Joel Matip deflected Pedro Porro’s cross into the back of the goal a few weeks ago during Tottenham’s now-infamous triumph against Liverpool.

Wright recently reflected on the clip and commented, “I loved the excitement of the crowd,” according to Premier League Productions (09/10/23 at 2:55 pm).

And, most recently, the under-pressure Erik ten Hag saw his Manchester United team defeat Brentford with two goals in stoppage time.

Wright also revealed that he ‘liked’ seeing and hearing the Old Trafford crowd’s jubilation.

“I loved the excitement of the crowd,” said Wright when watching back Spurs’ winning goal against Liverpool.

“I know it’s early doors and people are saying ‘oh, look at them celebrate’. You know the celebration police.

“That’s what I love. You can hear the Man United fans (against Brentford). You can hear the Tottenham fans in that one (against Liverpool). I love that.”

Who will finish higher – Tottenham or Manchester United?

It’s the London club sitting at the top of the Premier League tree after eight games, including a win over Manchester United.

As of this moment, Man United are sitting tenth in the table with eight points separating themselves and those right at the top.

Given how Spurs faltered last season and how Man United performed during the second half of the campaign, then don’t bet against the latter finishing higher.
