“Report: Next summer, Spurs plan to sign a £43 million full-back.”

Spurs are reportedly among several teams considering a move for Inter Milan right-back Denzel Dumfries when the current season ends, according to Inter Live.

Dumfries has become one of Inter’s most reliable players over the last year, following an uneventful first 18 months at the San Siro.

Premier League teams are reportedly taking notice of the Dutchman due to his outstanding performances; Spurs, Chelsea, and Manchester United are presently keeping an eye on his situation.

Spurs are considering Denzel Dumfries.

While Inter has begun negotiations with the right-back regarding a new contract and does not intend to sell him, the report claims that the Serie A team would not turn down an offer of €50 million (£43 million) for the player.

According to reports, Tottenham may try to make Emerson Royal a player-plus-cash offer if he decides to go in the other direction after the Nerazzurri previously targeted him.

According to the source, Inter would prefer to make Dumfries a cash offer, but the North London club values the Brazilian at €35 million (£30 million).

The Dutch international is worried about getting regular playing time in England before Euro 2024, even though he knows he will make a lot more money at a Premier League club. He sees the move as a “leap in the dark.”

Dumfries’ primary skills are his engine, which helps him move up and down the pitch, and the timing of his overlaps. He is more of a natural wing-back. Given his technical limitations with the ball, I am not sure if the Dutchman possesses the skills to play as an inverted full-back.
