Reporter Loic Tanzi of L’Equipe claims that Tanguy Ndombele has not been removed from the team.

Tanzi stated that, in spite of recent rumors to the contrary, Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk is still depending on Ndombele.

After joining Galatasaray in the summer, Ndombele has only played 123 minutes in seven appearances for the team.

According to Tanzi, Ndombele’s adductor injury is the reason he is currently out of commission.

After being discovered attempting to smuggle hamburgers into his hotel room after last week’s Champions League Match Day 3 match against Bayern Munich, Ndombele was reportedly sacked, according to reports in Turkiye.

The Tottenham loanee has come under fire for his weight and, according to the same reports, hasn’t put in enough effort to lose the weight.

According to reports, Ndombele’s loan at Galatasaray may be terminated early, and he may return to Tottenham during the winter transfer window.

The midfield player has a buyout option with the Red-Yellows that expires at the end of the current campaign. However, there is no obligation to buy, thus the loan may be canceled.

It appears that Ndombele will remain at Galatasaray and that manager Okan Buruk does still have faith in the midfielder. Galatasaray are currently second in the Champions League Group A and the Super Lig table.
