“Exciting Sighting: Dele Alli Returns to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium!”

Dele Alli returned to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this weekend, but for a different type of game. The former Spurs player was in attendance for the Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Buffalo Bills game.

It wasn’t long ago that Dele Alli was illuminating the pitch in North London. The midfielder was a prominent figure throughout Mauricio Pochettino’s tenure at Tottenham, appearing in 269 games and scoring 67 goals and collecting 61 assists (Transfermarkt).

However, due to injuries and mental health difficulties, Dele has lost his status as a standout player for club and nation in recent years. Earlier this year, the 27-year-old discussed the latter on The Overlap.

While he is presently out with an injury, the Everton player has been out and about this weekend, attending two quite different football games.

Dele spotted at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Dele chose a different sport on Sunday after visiting Everton’s 3-0 win over Bournemouth on Saturday and posing for photos with the Toffees’ fans at Goodison Park.

Dele was photographed at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium yesterday, which hosted an NFL game between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Buffalo Bills. He uploaded a photo on Instagram of a vista from the stands at his old stomping grounds.

This is not Dele’s first visit to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this season. He was previously present when Tottenham overcame Manchester United in August.

At the time, Tottenham captain Heung-min Son told the Independent how Dele was still a ‘member of the family’ at Spurs.

Spurs Web Opinion

Dele is looking in good shape, and most importantly, he is smiling, which is fantastic. It’s nice to see him attending games, but it will be even better to see him playing again. Hopefully, he can get on the pitch soon.
