For Arsenal’s Champions League group stage match against Lens tonight, manager Mikel Arteta has made two changes to the starting lineup.

With four group games under their belt, the Gunners are on nine points and need just one more to guarantee their spot in the round of sixteen with a win.

Sevilla could qualify for the round of 16 before the game even starts if they maintain their lead over PSV.

Two changes to Arteta’s starting lineup from the 1-0 victory at Brentford have been made ahead of tonight’s match.

Reinstated in goal is David Raya. In the most recent London derby, Aaron Ramsdale took his place because he was not permitted to play against his parent club.

In other news, Kai Havertz has replaced Leandro Trossard in the starting lineup. On Saturday, the German scored the game-winning goal off the bench, making a huge difference.

Martin Odegaard, who plays higher up in his preferred number 10 position, is expected to line up in central midfield alongside Declan Rice, the 24-year-old.

The confirmed starting lineup for Arsenal (4-2-3-1) is as follows: Raya, Tomiyasu, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Rice, Havertz; Odegaard, Saka, Martinelli, Jesus.

From the beginning of the campaign, the Gunners were the overwhelming favorites to advance from their division. With Sevilla defeating PSV 2-0 at home, it appears that they will accomplish this before tonight’s match.

With one game left, Arteta will be hoping to take the top spot. Earlier in the term, Lens defeated the Gunners 2-1 away. There is a great opportunity for the club to exact revenge.
