Anthony Martian wants to restart his career by leaving Manchester United, since he is unhappy at the club.

Anthony Martial, according to Football Insider, has no intention of staying at the club through January or the end of the season. The Frenchman has fallen out of favour with the boss and wishes to restart his career someplace else where he can play a leading role.

Anthony Martial starting for Manchester United after the summer transfer window closed was unusual, since the 27-year-old ace was anticipated to depart the club. Many teams were interested in the Frenchman, but he did not move.

Erik ten Hag utilised the chance to put Martial through his paces one last time, filling in for the injured Rasmus Hojlund for a few games. The latter joined Manchester United in a high-profile transfer from Atalanta and has since established himself as the club’s primary striker.

Unless one of the main players is injured again, Martial may not be able to start games on a regular basis. Ten Hag may continue to rely on the 27-year-old ace not wanting to stay at Manchester United, given his issues with the club’s wingers like Antony and Jadon Sancho.

As a result, he might be useful in games this season, but his future remains unknown. The 27-year-old ace is dissatisfied with his playing time and role inside Ten Hag’s system. He wants to play for a club where he will be a star, implying a move away.

In truth, Manchester United is eager to get rid of Martial and his exorbitant salaries. The Red Devils have the option to extend his current contract for an additional season. They may decide on it after the attacker’s interest is evident.

Barcelona are keen on Martial, but they are only looking at the financial feasibility of signing an experienced attacker here. For the 27-year-old ace, he will find himself in the same predicament of playing second fiddle to someone else at the Catalan club.

There’s also the interest from Saudi Pro League clubs in Martial, and this is where he can realistically play an important role. Financially, it could prove a solid deal for all parties concerned, but whether Martial wants to move there this early should also be considered.

In any case, beyond the short term, Martial does not have a future at Manchester United. Ten Hag will dip into the market to sign a new attacker as the Frenchman’s replacement, as the 27-year-old barely offers anything on the offensive side of things for the club.
