“According to reports, Tottenham is still considering Premier League defender Tosin Adarabioyo.”

Spurs’ goal to acquire a new center back during the January transfer window is widely known. Although Micky van de Ven’s hamstring injury during the loss to Chelsea has made things worse, the need for reinforcements at the back remains from the summer.

Due to injuries and suspensions, Ange Postecoglou’s team has struggled recently. Cristian Romero recently completed a three-match suspension, and van de Ven is out until the New Year. The Spurs defense has suffered greatly as a result of these absences, and the squad’s lack of depth has been exposed.

Spurs were strongly linked with a move for Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo prior to signing van de Ven in the summer. According to a Football Insider article from last month, the 26-year-old was still on the Lilywhites’ radar.

Spurs are still interested in Tosin Adarabioyo.

Here is Football’s most recent update.London supports this, stating that although Spurs are eager to evaluate Adarabioyo in January, it is possible they will have to wait until the summer to sign him.

Spurs “have continued to show interest ahead of January” in Adarabioyo, it is reported. But according to the report, “a summer free move somewhere appears more likely,” since he only has six months left on his current deal.

It is unclear if Spurs will hold off or try to lure Fulham into selling the player during the winter transfer window.

Tosin Adarabioyo is a talented player, but given his injury history, I am not sure if we will be getting a reliable player. It remains to be seen if Adarabioyo can return to the level of performance he had prior to the injury, and you never know when these problems with injuries can recur.
