Son Heung-Min of Tottenham Hotspurs has finally acknowledged that he has a remorse over one aspect of his performance against Fulham on Monday night.

After the game, Son spoke with Spurs Play via X and stated he wasn’t too proud of his response to being substituted.

Son was substituted off by Ange Postecoglou in the 82nd minute, and Alejo Veliz moved up to the top.

Son was plainly upset that his Tottenham performance against Fulham was cut short at the moment.

But he now admits that was a mistake.

Son expressed his unhappiness with the scenario, saying, “As a player, I want to always be on the field.

“But I believe that when you see the player come on, it should be a genuinely joyful moment, as it is a young man who has been working extremely hard in training.

“They ought to participate. I believe that when I reflect now, I am slightly regretting it because I ought to have supported them more.

“However, I believe they did a fantastic job to get a clean sheet today as well, and I am very happy to see young lads coming on to play in this fantastic stadium,” the author said.
